Two years after the start of RICA-HF, a telemonitoring project for heart failure, developed at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte (CHULN), coordinated by Prof.ª Doutora Dulce Brito, the results attest to its success: a 73% reduction in the rate of mortality and / or rehospitalization for any cause, including decompensated heart failure (HF).

The program is developed by a dedicated team, made up of 12 doctors who, as the cardiologist insists, underline, “at the same time, they maintain all their other care, academic and research activities”.
